Engineers specialize in optimizing things. I start by gathering information from my students and their families on what they want to optimize and their constraints.

I take the time to get to know your student and your family’s priorities to understand what success looks like for you.
I perform assessments to uncover the best-matching STEM majors for my students’ strengths and preferences.
I make introductions to real STEM professionals so my students can learn what being a Biochemist, Mechanical Engineer, Data Scientist, Systems Engineer, or other STEM professional is really like.

When my students are more sure about their best-fit college major, I help them select a great-fitting slate of schools that meets their and their family’s requirements and preferences.
- I introduce my students and their families to “hidden gem” schools in the US (and abroad, if interested) that excel in specific STEM disciplines and are reasonably priced.
I guide my students through completing their applications on-time and without added stress in their households.
I lead my students through a process of reflection and ideation on the way to writing their personal essays. My students’ essays stand out to admissions readers by illuminating their true selves, motivations, passions, goals, choices, and motivations. These essays are usually the best thing they’ve written to date, unless they also write a research paper with me.
