A long-term mentor-mentee relationship with your student that Dr. Alex is happy to continue into their college years and beyond (at their discretion). Since Dr. Alex has achieved what his students are striving for, they tend to look up to him and seek his advice.

Comprehensive College Admissions Package
- Typical start: Freshman year to Fall of Junior year
- Includes: Timeline management, HS curriculum & extracurricular activities roadmap, college major selection with “Ask me Anything” sessions, strategic target school list, application preparation, essay guidance (brainstorming, outlining, writing, editing), help fielding admission and financial aid offers.
Junior Year Forward College Admissions Package
- Typical start: Winter to Spring of Junior year
- Includes: Timeline management, Senior year curriculum review, summer activities roadmap, college major selection with “Ask me Anything” sessions, strategic target school list, application preparation, essay guidance, help fielding admission and financial aid offers.
STEM Graduate School Admissions Package
- Typical start: Fall to Spring of College Junior year
- Includes: Selecting a major and field of research, “Ask me Anything” sessions with STEM pros who have degrees you’re considering, directed guidance on investigating and connecting with graduate programs and professors, strategic list of target programs, assistance with school and funding applications, help fielding admission and financial aid offers.

Research Project Mentoring Services

All Research Mentoring packages include a full year of mentoring and unlimited meetings with Dr. Alex. This makes them the best value on the market and gives your student the greatest chance to successfully publish and/or present their research. More info on our Research Projects page

Mentored Research Projects aimed at publication
- Typical start: Freshman year to Spring of Junior year
- Customized STEM research project with mentorship by Dr. Alex. Culminates in a coveted, bona fide student (co-)authored publication. Students learn research skills and dive deep into a topic of their choice. This experience will help distinguish your STEM applicant from the crowd and can serve as a topic for their personal essays.
Mentoring for Science Fair & STEM Competition Projects
- Does your student want to level-up in their school, county, or state science fair?
- Do they want to improve their award chances for ISEF, Regeneron Science Talent Search, JSHS, Davidson Fellowships, Breakthrough Junior Challenge, the Conrad Challenge, or another competition?
- Dr. Alex will help them choose a compelling and appropriately scoped project that will get the judges’ attention. Mentorship continues with help and lessons on getting started with the right techniques and approaches for the subject through wrapping up the project and making a top-notch display board. Most importantly, you student will learn hands-on how to design and carry out real science or engineering research.
